HIHI JAPPIES:D

This post is to inform you that for the first time in Singapore,
400 rare Japanese dolls handmade by 60 doll masters
will make a special appearance
at Singapore Philatelic Museum (SPM)!!!

there'll be a japanese club outing to SPM on
Saturday, 14Nov!!!
we'll meet at city hall mrt station at 11am:D
weeeeehs! CYA!

The handcrafted dolls are dressed inexquisite costumes
and depict various Japanese festivals, folklore and traditions.
Each doll requires an average of TWO years to complete.
Edo-Kimekomi Dolls are historic Japanese dolls
dating back to some 300 years ago!!!

This would be a great opportunity
to find out about traditional Japanese heritage and culture,
through skilfully handcrafted traditional dolls and doll making!
